Description
Deep, inky purple in colour, with aromas of black currant, plum and cinnamon layered over notes of tar, eucalyptus and cedar. The palate is full and weighty, with ripe black cherry fruit and soft barrel textures up front, giving way to sweet yet chewy tannins, dark berry fruit and an elegant, graphite-mineral quality. The tannins persist with great length on the finish, tapering down smoothly alongside notes of cigar box and spice.
