Description
Review by: Allen Meadows
Burghound: Issue 32, October 2008
Here the nose is more obviously earth-infused with hints of game and underbrush, both of which can also be found on the focused light to medium-bodied flavors that possess good punch and cut plus a bit more depth and length as well as an attractive touch of finishing minerality. This is not an especially big Chassagne and the phenolics are just ripe enough to avoid any underlying astringency. Pretty in its fashion.
