Wine Advocate: Issue 178, August 2008
Maculan’s 2007 Dindarello (Moscato Fior d’Arancio) is made in a style that combines the floral Moscatos of Piedmont with the textural richness of the sweet wines of Veneto. An exciting array of citrus, orange peel, spices, acacia and honey develops in the glass as this beautiful wine reveals the depth of its personality. This is an ideal wine to pair with fruit-based desserts and I imagine it could also stand up to lighter, fresh cheeses as well. It is one of the very finest values in dessert wines to be found in Italy.
