The garnet-colored 2006 Font de la Figuera is a blend of 50% Garnacha, 30% Syrah, and the balance Carinena and Cabernet Sauvignon. The aromatic array of smoke, mineral, black cherry, and blueberry is enticing. This is followed by a firm, medium to full-bodied wine with layers of ripe fruit, moderate tannin, savory flavors, and a medium-long finish.
