Jean Marc Brocard Chablis 'Les Clos' Grand Cru 2012 - 1.5 Litre Bottle

Product description

The largest and best situated of the 7 Grands Crus, the Les Clos vineyard is situated on 10% south facing slopes to the north west of Chablis town. It produces dry, generous and rich wines which improve after a few years, retaining their minerality and power.

This gently pressed grapes undergo natural yeast fermentation followed by full malolactic fermentation and 18 months maturation period on the lees in foudre. The resulting wine is as dynamic as it gets - spicy, rich, and mineral-driven with an aging potential of up to 15 years or more.

90 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

The 2012 Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos has a pretty bouquet with touches of nectarine and apricot infusing the citrus fruit, the aromatics opening nicely in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with attractive notes of pineapple and lemon peel, with a composed and slightly foursquare finish. Fine.
